Mark Hoggard, Jr. (Markie) has been singing since
he was 8 years old, and he has been singing with
his dad in the Laymen since he was about 12 years
old. He is now 30 and sings bass in the group, but he has an amazing
range and could easily sing baritone, lead, and maybe even tenor! Not
only is he a wonderful singer, but he is also a wonderful man of God.
He has also been blessed with the gift of songwriting. He has written 5
incredible songs that are on their new project. Markie and his wife
Amanda have 2 children, Briana and Trey.
